Beryl 7 (GL-MT3600BE)?

Is this the successor to the Beryl AX? Are there any news and specs available for this rumored router?

Currently there is not much more known about the Beryl 7. Also the Flint 3E (GL-BE6500) is just as mysterious.

Beryl 7 will likely have wifi 7. Is dual band (so 2.4GHz and 5GHz most likely) and wifi speed is probably same a Slate 7 (Max. 688 Mbps (2.4GHz) + 2882 Mbps (5GHz) Fast Wi-Fi Speeds).

Likely you will not hear anything until it is launched/released. Possibly you hear about a beta being started, but all those within that beta-test program will have an NDA… So those will not talk.

I just want to know if it'll have full compatibility with OpenWRT!

GL.Inet will of course make their firmware based on manufacturer SDKs that are based on OpenWRT, but stock OpenWRT depends on the chipset being supported in OpenWRT. That may or may not be supported already.

Wifi 7 is still pretty new within stock OpenWRT, so these might be plenty to still work out on that side as well.

Many of GL-inet devices eventually do receive stock OpenWRT support. That is impossible to know, given we do not know what chipset is in the Beryl 7.
