Beryl 7 stuck on reset / cannot access admin

Hello,

I have a GL.iNet Beryl 7 and I am currently unable to properly access or configure it.

The device powers on normally and the LED is blinking (blue/teal light), and the Wi-Fi networks appear (GLMT3600BE-bb1 and GLMT3600BE-bb1-5G). However, I have serious issues:

  • I can connect to the Wi-Fi but I have no stable internet access when not properly configured

  • I can open 192.168.8.1, but it asks for admin password

  • The “Forgot password” option appears, but it does not resolve the issue

  • Factory reset has been attempted multiple times (holding reset button for 10–20 seconds), but the device does not properly return to initial setup mode

  • After reset attempts, the device still behaves as if previous configuration remains or recovery does not complete correctly

  • The LED continues blinking and the setup flow does not fully restart cleanly

At one point, when WAN/Ethernet was connected, the device did show internet (“online”), but I still cannot properly regain full admin control or clean setup access.

I need help to:

  • fully restore factory firmware state

  • or perform a recovery / firmware reinstallation method

  • and regain access to admin interface normally

Please advise the correct recovery procedure for this situation.

Thank you.
