I just unboxed my Beryl AX (GL-MT3000) router and followed the initial setup and I am also getting a wrong password answer using goodlife. I did a reset and its still not working. I am connected via LAN using ethernet cable and I can't access the admin panel to do any setup. Ultimately I want to tether to my iPhone's hotspot.
The wifi password is printed on the bottom of the router - it is unique for each router these days, but you should be able to set the router up over the LAN, and set the admin password of your choice.
