Beryl AX: Private DNS server cannot be accessed

I updated my Beryl AX to the latest 4.8 firmware and did a hard reset. After reconfiguring the Beryl, I noticed that "Private DNS server cannot be accessed" is described underneath the SSID. Under notification, Android System says the SSID has no internet service. Yet, I do. In fact, I can even connect to a VPN from my Android device. What's going on? Is my security and privacy compromised by the warning? How do I fix this?

I get that error sometimes (with both GL and my ISP routers). It usually goes away if I toggle wi-fi off and then on again.

Try /etc/init.d/dnsmasq restart the next time it happens. The local DHCP/DNS daemon (dnsmasq) could be hung up on trying to reach out across the network/WAN. /etc/init.d/network restart will restart the Beryl AX/router's network interfaces, unsurprisingly.

I have also seen that most systems sometimes remind this (other in my test/reproduce some questions), but WiFi Internet is available and VPN remote access is also normal.

It may be that the system's detection lags, and the accuracy is for reference only.
