Beryl AX USB teathering to iPhone 16 not working

Teathering to my iPhone 16 pro is not working. I believe I found a good USB data cable. When plugged in the phone charges and the router INTERNET page indicates that it recognized the phone. However, when I try to connect the process never completes. On my phone I see the icon indicating a teathered client. The router, however, does not complete the process. I've copied the system log below.

I have turned off the phone's WIFI. I have turned off the phone's hotspot. When I turn the hotspot back on I select USB only.

I can connect to the phone hot-spot via WIFI tethering.

If the PC is connected to the iPhone via wire USB, can it work with the iPhone's network?

Yes. Tested with a MacBook.

is surely wired USB with the MacBook?

Try to check with the router tethering and attach the syslog one more.

I found the log you attached, only shows that tethering sent DHCP discover, but cannot find the iPhone reply the DHCP offer.

Yes, in that log there was not a DHCP reply and tethering failed. today I went to capture logs of successful tether via WIFI and failed tether via USB but .. tether via USB succeeded.

It didn't work 5 days ago. it did work today. I was not doing anything different. Also, WIFI tether failed a couple times before succeeding. So, my impression is that it is not quite stable. But, it worked today and hopefully will continue to work.

This issue may be related to iOS.
We also found that sometimes the repeater succeeds or fails, and the same goes for tethering, with the iPhone, and most will work when the iPhone reboot.
