Beryl MT-1300 working on v3.216. After upgrading to v4.x (4.3.19), can no longer connect to WAN via PPPoE.
It's a full-fiber (FTTP) connection, with an ONT. ISP router, an old Netgear router, and the Beryl on 3.216 can connect to WAN with generic username and password provided by ISP (copied below from website).
Broadband username or login name: bthomehub@btbroadband.com
Broadband password: BT (or leave blank)
Authentication: CHAP
DNS: Auto or Obtain from ISP (we'll automatically provide these when you connect)
On v4.x, the router indicates "LCP terminated by peer" after 0.1 seconds.
Tried setting VLAN to 101, which didn't help either. Tried cloning MAC.
Is there a change in the default settings in v4.x vs. v3.2 that could explain why there's an issue connecting via PPPoE? Downgraded to v3.216 and it's working again.
