Beryl X MT3000 having weird issues

I have a Beryl AX MT3000 that I've been using as an access point, plugged into my Mikrotik Hex router.

Today I factory reset both my Mikrotik router and the Beryl. I connected to the admin page on the Beryl to set it as an access point again, but it insisted I plug a cable into the WAN port. I've never done this when set as an AP, but I did anyway. The Mikrotik router assigned it an IP address, but when I'm connected directly to the wifi or I plug my laptop into the Beryl with Ethernet, I cannot access the admin page of the Beryl or the Mikrotik.

The only way to access either admin pages is to connect my laptop directly to the Mikrotik router.

What's the deal?

I've tried factory resetting both devices a few times trying to get this to work with no luck. I don't see anything suspicious in the logs.

If the router set it as AP mode, the firmware will remind the WAN port connected first, but after switching to AP, the WAN port is actually used as the LAN mode.

Normally, the two network ports of MT3000 are as LAN, and WIFI (WLAN) is also the same bridge as LAN. The client (laptop/phone, etc.) can access the GL GUI via the IP assigned to MT3000 by Mikrotik.

Please try to switch to AP, let the clients to re-connect the MT3000 (the client WiFi re-connect, the laptop reconnects the network cable, etc.) or the router reboots to see if it is normal?

What is the router firmware version?

If the laptop connects to the MT3000 and manually set the static IP (Mikrotik subnet) and does it available to access?
