Boost signal on GL-X3000 with Waveform QuadPro 4x4 MIMO antenna to reach boat dock?

Hi, I have the GL.iNet GL-X3000 (Spitz AX) in the center of the house and the Waveform QuadPro 4x4 MIMO antenna on the roof. Everything is working great and we couldn't be happier with the products and the setup (with just one exception--connecting to a smart lock via ttllock, which is a minor inconvenience and the subject of another thread). Now I'm just reaching for a little more coverage, if that is possible. Our lake house is on a hill and our dock is down the hill and forward of the house. The distance from the dock to the house is approximately 100'. Is it possible to boost the signal somehow to reach the dock, or is that asking for too much?

Do you want to broadcast the WIFI signal from the X3000 to the devices on the dock? Possible solution is to use a directional WIFI antenna which with high signal gain and facing the direction of the dock.

Have you tried increasing your WiFi signal strength? On the control panel, go to the "Wireless" tab and change the "TX Power" to maximum - for both the 5GHz and 2.4GHz WiFi networks.

Second, when out at the dock, try connecting to the 2.4GHz network only. 2.4GHz, although slower than 5GHz, has much further range. To do this, you will have to change the "WiFi name (SSID)" of your 2.4GHz network to something other than your 5GHz network; then, on your devices at the dock, manually select the 2.4GHz network.

Third. Obviously, relocating the router in the house so that its closer to the dock may provide fewer obstructions to the signal; but, I suspect that you really don't want to do this. However, RAISING the router (e.g. mounting it higher on the wall in the room where its currently located) may also increase WiFi coverage up to 20-30% (if you can raise it 6' or so).

Fourth. A WiFi extender located in your house, but on the wall closest to the dock, will retransmit your WiFi and may provide stronger WiFi at your dock.
