I have a network with an existing mesh system.

I’m thinking of putting a Brume 2 in between the modem and the mesh routers, to block ads and run the VPN.

Is Brume 2 designed for that kind of usecase?

Best to use the Brume as your main router and leave your mesh system operating as an access point (AP) only. This will allow you to use all the features of the GL.iNet whilst benefiting from the WiFi reach and coverage of your mesh system.

You can use Brume 2 as drop-in gateway, without change your current network typo.
