tried to install nano, I guess everyone at gli uses vi.
login# opkg install nano
Installing nano (4.3-1) to root…
- satisfy_dependencies_for: Cannot satisfy the following dependencies for nano:
- opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package nano.
also the ‘kmod-usb-net-rtl8152’ driver for the usb150 is unavailable.
I have the latest version and I cannot install nano.
Does early version work?
Nothing is removed intentionally but engineers rush to holiday and will not work for 2 weeks.
I reported same issue for 3.101-0103 on jan 3
in webadmin the following are removed intentionallly but not necessary, guest, wireless just wondered if he should have removed plugins too.
sometimes its good to remove things/functionality to isolate problems.
I also wondered if it was a location issue.
because he had
#src glinet_glinet file:/home/zl/gl-image/gl-image/releases-packages/mvebu/glinet
commented out, but it got me to thinking that sometimes during your testing it works within your network but doesn’t get tested from a truly external environment.
I know these are testing/beta bins but somepeople are looking foward to increased functionality use this route and I guess this thread is hear to help them save some time.
fyi i created a guest network on lan1 and separated lan from lan1 and created a guestzone just like the other products hoping gl-webadmin would show guest features like the other routers… didn’t happen.
copied 3.027 /etc/opkg/distfeeds.conf
able to get nano installed but not ‘kmod-usb-net-rtl8152’
but wireless starting to work with specific usb adapter is a promising step forward.
OK. Thanks for your feedback.
Guys went to holiday so I cannot get an answer for you about the repo change.
