Seeing what is everyone’s take on this. Would it be better to have the Brume 2 or Flint 2?
The Brume 2 was released in september 2022, and the Flint 2 was released around December 2023 for having a wireguard server, would the quad core processor in the Flint 2 be better or would the dual core processor in the Brume 2 suffice for being a wireguard server?
If only as a WireGuard server, I think Brume2 is ok.
If say in addition to the WireGuard server, also would like to as the main router at home to provide WiFi coverage, etc., please consider Flint2.
Sure, Flint2's WireGuard performance better than Brume2, but the bottleneck may not be the router performance, but the ISP bandwidth or remote VPN link quality.
