I'm running my new GL-BE3600 (Slate 7), firmware 4.7.1 (2025-03-07). I'm configuring it, but even though the language I choose is Spanish, when I go into advanced settings, everything is in Chinese. Is there any way to change it from the advanced settings?
depends if it exists, should be in the second tab from the left, under packages, update packages find luci-i18n-base-es and install and then select it under Languages and Style
alternatively log in via ssh, opkg update, and opkg install luci-i18n-base-es
Also english should be available, but your browser needs to 'set it as supported'. See Setting language preferences in a browser
I assume you have only ES as language, not EN as second choice. Lucy don't know it, so it falls back to the Luci default language.
Maybe the Lucy default could be set to English as fall back as well?
Even chosing English I can see chinese language.
All my Gl Inet devices do not have this behaviour.
