Hi, I’ve been trying to get the tethering to work from my iPhone XS, but I keep getting the connection error. Iphone Tethering Technical Support for Routers

I found it worked more reliable by fully disabling (not just disconnecting via the control center) WiFi and Bluetooth and then selecting ‘USB only’ for the tethering option. You need to trust the router when you connect to it also. I think the first time you connect it needs a little time to create the ‘TETHERING’ interface but the experience is more reliable afterwards.
