Cannot connect to "eduroam" network

Hello,

I have been trying to connect to my university's eduroam network, but I have been having problems.

I have the following setup:

• GL-AR300M16-Ext router
• 4.3.17 firmware
• Trying to connect to eduroam via repeater mode, so I can retranslate with my own SSID.
• Have not been able to get DNS or DHCP working due to not being able to connect to a network.

I followed this guide: Extensible Authentication Protocol - GL.iNet Router Docs 3. The first part didn't work and gave me an "incorrect username or password" error, and the second part via Luci also didn't work. Our eduroam network is a bit weird because it uses WPA-EAP for key management, TTLS for EAP and PAP for phase 2. When I try to put these settings into Luci, it does not connect, and gives me the following errors in the logs:

Hi,

Does the EAP Wi-Fi require import the certification file? Or only require the username+password?

There are 2 ways, GL GUI or Luci, one of them is ok.

It requires only a username and password. Here are the settings recommended by our IT department:

-Use the following settings to complete the network set-up:

-Network name: psu or eduroam

-Security: WPA/WPA2/WPA3-Enterprise

-EAP method: TTLS

-Identity: Access Account ID in the format: abc1234@psu.edu

-Password: Access Account password

-CA certificate: Use System Certificates

-Online certificate status: Don't validate or Do not verify

-Domain: radius1.aset.psu.edu

For some reason, it seems to reject these settings when I manually put them into Luci (and there is no option in the GL GUI for them)

and in it, has a Devices that are compatible with eduroam.
I think the router device type maybe not in the list. Maybe you can check with your IT department

We tested eduroam here and it works just simply fine.

I tested connecting to eduroam network as repeater and seems it is simple, just as a general EAP. [image] [image] So supported models should those supporting EAP. AXT1800, A1300, AR300M MT3000, MT6000 with op24 firmware Non supported models MT300N-V2 SFT1200 If you have a different situation for eduroam please reply in this thread.
