Cannot PING GLKVM Comet on other LAN switch

I plugged in the GLKVM Comet to the same (unmanaged) network switch as my wired PC. I can PING it no problem. When I plug in the GLKVM Comet to a different (unmanaged) network switch, which is connected to the same LAN, I cannot PING from my wired PC. However, I can PING it from a wireless computer on the same local network.

If I plug the GLKVM Comet to an available port on my router, connected to the same local network, I can PING it.

I only have one subnet (192.168.1.0/24). I have no issues PINGing any other device connected to any wired switch on my local network.

Firmware v1.5.0 release 1 (RM1)

Our testing department informed me that they haven't encountered such an issue. Could you provide the model number of the problematic switch? We can purchase it to investigate further.

I have the Comet GL-RM1.

Here's my setup:

Switch A (unmanaged) is plugged into a router port.
Switch B (unmanaged) is plugged into a port on Switch A.

Computer A can connect to the Comet when both devices are connected to Switch B.

Computer A cannot connect to the Comet when Computer A is plugged into a port on Switch B and the Comet is plugged into a port on Switch A.

Computer A can connect to the Comet when the Comet is plugged into a router port.

All wifi devices can connect to the Comet no matter where the Comet is plugged in.

It seems related to the switch device and router. Could you try using a different device instead of the Comet to see if the issue persists?

I have about 10-15 other devices on the same uplink switch and I can PING them all, just not the Comet when it’s plugged in there.
