can't access the network using GL-sft1200

My router suddenly stopped working. I can connect to it but the available network (a group home shared network) says I can't access internet. When I connect using their network and type in the URL for the router setup, I cannot access the site. I can access all other websites. I suspect the system administrator somehow blocked my router from connecting to their network to prevent me from securing a private connection (so they can spy on me). Am I correct in this assumption?

I doubt it, to be honest.

But you can check by setting a new MAC: MAC Address - GL.iNet Router Docs 4

I can't access the site for the router-I log into the network and try to go to the site, it's the only side that is blocked. I don't see how that's possible unless the administrator specifically firewalled the site. I'm using an old desktop with windows 8. My other devices will no longer connect to the house network at all.

But can't you connect your desktop directly via LAN / Wi-Fi to your router?

Yes. But I'm using the router as a repeater and the host network won't allow internet access when I'm going through my router, and I'm getting a reading that says limited rather than connected

now it shows connected to my router, and internet access but when I type in a website I get a no internet access box. diagnostics says perhaps a problem with DNS server. I'm not very tech savvy, obviously. But this issue and the fact that when connected on thier network without my router I'm prevented from even accessing the website for the router makes me think that both have been blocked by the administrator using their firewall.

Check your DNS settings on the router: DNS - GL.iNet Router Docs 4

Maybe set them to a known DNS server like Google 8.8.8.8 or Quad9 (9.9.9.9)
