Can't control my windows pc

Hey,
I got my KVM and plugged Ethernet, HDMI and the USB-C to my USB-A in my pc. Now I see the monitor but can't control the device like clicking or moving the mouse.

Did I something wrong?

Kind regards

  1. Comet has two type C ports, and many users will confuse these two interfaces. Please check again whether your computer is connected to the interface with keyboard and mouse identification.

  2. The most frequent problem encountered by users is the cable problem. Please make sure that the USB cable connected to the computer has data transmission capability. You can use any USB cable included in the package. Of course, if the two cables in the package are confirmed to be invalid, you can also try other USB cables

  3. please make sure that the Comet firmware has been upgraded to the latest version 1.1.1

  4. Try to restart the controlled computer after connecting the USB cable

  5. If there are any driver scanning or repair tools on your computer, please try to scan and repair

  6. Have you tested comet on other computer models to see if it works properly? This will help us quickly narrow down the scope of the problem

Hey,
thank you for your answer.

I connected the included USB cable right. I checked
I am currently using V.1.1.1 release1.

I rebooted the system multiple times.

The only error I get is a driver error on my Windows pc.

I currently can't test the KVM on other pcs.

Do you have any IT security related software installed on your computer? linke crowdstrike

add below line in /etc/kvmd/override.yaml

kvmd:
  msd:
    type: disabled
otg:
  manufacturer: Corsair
  product: 'Corsair Gaming RGB '
  product_id: 26995
  serial: ''
  vendor_id: 26944

And then reboot comet. See if it can work , these line disabled file share function and disguise comet as a Corsair device

I found some suggestions on how to fix error code 43 on Microsoft's website.

I was looking at code 43 solutions.

Try above first.
...
Here's the steps you can try.
-Press Windows key + X
-Go to Device Manager
-Expand the Universal Bus Controller
-Look for USB 3.0 Extensible Host Controller and USB 3.0 Root Hub
-Right click and hit Uninstall

After restart the driver will be automatically installed.....Redirecting
