I have 2 beryls (both have latest firmware). I would like to leave one at home and take one abroad with me. I connected the home beryl to my router. I can access internet no problem. But when i try to setup wire guard server and import the configuration to my travel beryl i get parsing error.
When i went to Dynamic DNS of the home beryl and ran DNS test, i get the following error -
Can someone help me how to resolve this ? I would like to setup my travel router such that i can connect to my home beryl.
Hi!
If Beryl is not currently connected directly to your ISP modem and obtaining a public IP address, it is normal for this message to appear.
It can be safely ignored as long as the following two points are met:
- Your ISP provides you with a public IP address.
- Port forwarding to Beryl's Wireguard server port has been configured correctly in your ISP modem/main router.
You can refer to the following tutorials to set up a home WireGuard server and troubleshoot issues.
