Capturing and forwarding system hotkeys possible?

I know we got the toolbar and since V1.3 can even add our own hotkeys there, but during longer working sessions it would be good if we could just use system hotkeys natively, at least when in full-screen mode.

Right now, on Windows 10, when the Windows key on the keyboard is used, it's processed both on the remote machine and on the local machine, so I can see how both start menues are being opened. Same goes for any hotkey involving the Windows key like <Windows + Arrow Key>.
<Alt + Tab> is only processed locally, so I cannot switch between windows using this on the remote machine.

Things like ESC key and the back/forward thumb buttons on my mouse are working fine now, they are no longer processed locally but processed on the remote machine since V1.3.

I wonder whether it's even possible to have these system keys captured by a browser, might be a security thing that the OS just doesn't allow this, at least on closed eco systems like the Windows and Mac worlds. That's also why I posted this as a separate topic and not here, because it might be an entirely different (and maybe impossible) challenge compared to just reacting differently to browser hotkeys.

Either way it would be good if it could be looked into and if we could get a clear answer whether it can be done in a future version or not so that we know what to expect.

use chrome. Or a browser with chromium kernel like edge. It will work fine in fullscreen mode

I used the GLKVM app in the latest version, which I would have assumed gives you the most control over system level actions? I am normally using Brave, will try that later.

I tested the brave browser. It didn't work. Let's use chrome or edge instead
