Changing Resolution Requires Disconnection of HDMI Cable

Whenever I want to work from a different client I need to change resolution. When I adjust the resolution in the settings menu it requires a physical disconnect and reconnection of the HDMI cable to apply the changes. I’ve tried to remotely reboot the KVM but that doesn't work either.

I do change the resolution in windows too. If I browse to display settings and then advanced display I can see the desktop mode resolution at the resolution I've set in windows. The active signal mode resolution is however “stuck” at the previous resolution.

Does any one have the same issue? Is there a solution?

Type-C docking station? I've only seen the issue you mentioned on this device. If that's the case, it's a problem with the docking station.

Slightly off topic, can you save custom EDID’s? I need to switch between two custom ones.

Maybe future version will have such feature , I don’t fully know the progress

Maybe moving the standard presets into a configuration file that can be edited manually would be a good stop-gap solution? I'd be tempted to experiment with adding a 1024x768 or 800x600 EDID to improve readability for my text-based machines, but 1080p is nice for my Windows machine.
