Checking cloud service status

Recently got the comet pro

Not super familiar with the IT world, just wanted try out this cool sounding device

Device says that it is checking cloud service status constantly. I tried to login into the device locally and when I try to bind it there, it gives me an error saying, “Generate dynamic code failed, please try again later.”

Once again, not familiar with the IT world so I didn’t know how to troubleshoot the device. I saw another forum post on here having what seemed to be the same issue. I looked up how I could run that same command that the dude said worked [echo '{"log_level":"INFO","enable":true}' > /etc/glinet/gl-cloud.conf , /etc/init.d/S99gl-cloud restart] but that junk didn’t work.

This is usually due to the device not being connected to the cloud platform. You can access the terminal via Toolbox->Terminal, enter `logread|grep cloud|grep err` and press Enter to see what error messages are displayed.

Well I let it just sit overnight and it seems to have sorted itself out. Thanks for the effort though!
