Comet 5G : Extended mode

Hello,

I just received my Comet 5G. I've connected my PC to the KVM, then the KVM to my secondary monitor, and I have two questions:

  • I use the "extend this display" mode. When I connect remotely to the KVM, I see screen 2, but the mouse moves on screen 1. How can I make it move on screen 2?
  • My secondary monitor is an extra-wide screen with a resolution of 2560x1080. When using my PC, I can't select the maximum resolution, so I have large black bars on the sides.

Regarding the first issue, please try switching the mouse mode to "Relative."

Regarding the second issue, we recommend selecting a resolution with the same aspect ratio as your controlling device.

For my second issue, I’m talking about the device connected to the KVM.
Laptop 1 ← HDMI IN → KVM ← HDMI OUT → Screen (2560×1080)

When I have the KVM in the middle, the screen resolution cannot be set to 2560×1080.

You can change the resolution directly on the KVM console.

Yes, this means you are currently using a resolution of 2560×1080.

Two others questions:

  • Where can we use the fingerbot from the android app ?
  • If I’m using the android app, the keyboard is “qwerty” type, but my laptop is “azerty” type. If I’m using the app keyboard and type on “q”, it will type “a”, which is little bit disturbing … If I’m trying to use the phone keyboard, it open and close instantly. I’m on Redmi note 14 pro

  1. Not currently supported, but we plan to add it in a future version.

  2. This seems to be a known issue. Does the same problem occur when using other input methods?

What do you mean by other input method ?

By "other input method", I meant switching to a different keyboard input tool on your device, like SwiftKey, Gboard, etc

If I’m on System keyboard, even when i switch to french or english keyboard, I have the same issue
