Comet PoE (GL-RM1PE) No Mic Routing

I can’t seem to get the mic routing on the KVM to work anymore. It was working fine last month, but seems to have stopped routing recently. I updated the firmware to the latest and tried it on the app and web browser and tried changing up the EDID settings to no avail. I am able to route the audio and camera perfectly fine for some reason.

Please confirm whether the correct microphone device is selected. Under which transmission mode does this issue occur? Try switching to other modes, such as webrtc(native) and webrtc(fec). Also provide the complete logs captured when the problem happens.

I tried all transmission modes and the microphone in my host KVM is not detected. The EDID setting is set to Logitech and the Logitech microphone is not showing up on the host KVM. I also dmed you my system logs

Based on the logs, only the mouse, keyboard, and camera were detected (hid.usb0, hid.usb1, hid.usb2, uvc.gs6).

Here are two suggestions you can try:

  1. Check the Device Manager on your host PC to see if the microphone is correctly recognized there. This is a prerequisite for the controlled side to detect it. If it’s not showing up, try re-plugging the microphone.

  2. Test this firmware build to see if it resolves the issue: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mARiwUBNjTcxX-VxUP1zASDWwrCiazV-/view?usp=sharing

Just finished trying both suggestions and the microphone is still not being detected.

This is actually the first time we've encountered an issue where only a single device fails to enumerate.

Could you please share the USB topology/tree from both your host (controlling) PC and target (controlled) PC? Here is how you can capture it:

For Windows: Please download USB Device Tree Viewer. You can refer to the attached screenshot to export the log (File -> Save Report...) and send it to us.

For macOS: Go to Apple Menu  -> About This Mac -> System Report -> Hardware -> USB.

Additionally, if you can temporarily downgrade to version 1.9.2 where it worked properly and provide a comparison log or screenshot, it would help us pinpoint and fix the issue much faste.

I dmed the usb tree for my devices. I was also able to fix the issue by not saving the configuration when doing the firmware upgrade.
