I wonder why H.266/AV1 isn’t used?

how does this two way audio works ? through hdmi ..and would we be able to use teams or zoom(on target pc ) for calling through this and use our mic on the main laptop ? I have ordered my comet POE but its been 3 days that not even the sipment has started
