I really appreciate the consideration of this feature
I’m heading back home shortly on the 17th of June and would love if the beta becomes available to test before then as I want to leave my laptop home for good. I would love even an alpha at this stage.
I have a GL-RM10 running V1.9.2 beta1. I do not see any Camera/Remote Camera option in Settings, Apps Center, or Device Redirection. Is the camera passthrough feature available in the current RM10 beta, and if so, which firmware version contains it?
Any update on the public beta of this camera pass though feature? really looking forward to it!! And is there a second pro version coming out any time soon?
Hey, so I have been testing the webcam passthrough and it seems to cut off when the head moves pretty badly. I assume that’s when the bandwidth increases. Not sure if there’s a solution for this? or a way to lower the quality so it takes less bandwidth?
What kind of device it intoduce in a laptop once you enable the camera passthrough option, if it introduces a name GL-webcam or etc.. then is there any way to change it as we do for monitor?
Or is it not available yet? and if so then when can we expect firmware version supporting rm1pe for camera passthrough? And which version will it be? @minmie
Originally, I planned to release the beta 1 version, but this version has some unexpected issues. For now, we can only look forward to the beta 2 version, which is expected to be available around next week.
Just wanted to update that many of us are seeing this product as a productivity tool, and i personally have been using this day to day on my work laptop, which is sitting in the corner of the room.
It’s a huge advantage that you guys have right now, and if the bandwidth, internal hardware, or even a dedicated app to have native experience like using that controlled device, for continuous hours of usage on this device would be amazing and opens the doors for more audience on top of current devs.
Really like your product and hope the high level of dedication and quality support could thrive for as long as possible
this is the problem tho. they argue that they cannot release certain features because they dont condone tricking remote companies. But that is literally most of their demographic. They should instead release features as requested and not mention their specific case use; location spoofing etc.
