It's still USB 2.0 & no POE. There's nothing 'pro' about this... except as a so-called prosumer.

I hope I am not being rude but would you mind me asking why you have put this product on Kickstarter?

Thanks for reaching out! We do have the Comet PoE (GL-RM1PE), which comes with PoE support. It will be launching soon! For more details, please check here: Comet PoE (GL-RM1PE) | Remote KVM with PoE - GL.iNet
Not rude at all—we really appreciate the question. The reason we chose Kickstarter is not about funding, but about community. Unlike routers, KVM devices are less familiar to the broader market. On Kickstarter, however, many backers already have experience with this type of technology and are actively engaged in sharing feedback during early development.
By launching here, we can connect with this knowledgeable community, listen to their insights, and fine-tune the product before mass production. It’s our way of making sure the final version truly reflects real-world needs and delivers the dependable experience people expect from GL.iNet.

Thanks @elainechen for the explanation. I was always under the impression that Kickstarter was for small startup businesses and unknown companies and hence my question. Thank you again.
It used to be similar to that on Etsy before the drop shippers became a pestilence.
I assume this is on Kickstarter because of another highly successful very similar designed remote kvm product that recently went through Kickstarter.
Gl-inet refer to that device as “Competitor 2” in their comparisons.
You market a product where people are buying similar products.
