The date of my Comet Q date keeps resetting to 1970-01-01 after a restart. Forcing a logout of Tailscale because the key is not valid anymore. This makes the device only useful for local use as remote access is not possible anymore due to the logout. Can this please be fixed in firmware?
Current software version is 1.8.3 release1 (RMQ1).
Hi, did your device's NTP not sync after you reconnected to Wi-Fi? Could you export the logs and send them to me privately?
NTP sync appears to work okay now.
On the 27th and 28th of August it just wouldn’t time sync around 50% of the time. Today and yesterday it has been working every time. Also with multiple reboots. Although it can still take up to 3 minutes before it finally syncs. A faster sync time would be preferred.

I have installed 1.8.4 Beta 1. Date and time update is much faster now.
Also, as the release notes state, Wi-Fi behavior is better now too. Before it often did not connect to the closest access point, but now it does. Thanks.
Looks like I celebrated too early. Today the Comet Q (with 1.8.4 b1) refused to sync time completely. Even after many restarts. I had to perform a reset of the device and set it up again from scratch, and for now it is working again.
