Conflict with IP of GL-SFT1200 Opal as secondary Router when forwarding ports of primary router

HI everybody, I'm using a GL.iNET SFT1200 (opal) as a secondary router (repeater) , when trying to configure the forwarding ports for wireguard server (51820) of the primary router ( Arris TG2482) the IP of the secondary router (opal 192.168.8.1 ) have a conflict and it's unrecognizable by the primary router of the ISP, I tried to change the IP from 100-150-200 but nothing. Don't know what to do . the opal have a firmware v4.3.18 and it's new, HELP.

What IP addresses do you use where?
Which device shows the conflict?

Hi , The primary ISP router (Arris TG2482) shows the conflict , when type the IP of the GL-SFT1200 opal ( 192.168.8.1) which is the secondary router, I'm wondering am I doing something wrong?
a message pop up with " wrong character" in IP.

I guess the ISP router wants the WWAN address of your Opal, not the LAN one.

Hi admon, just a couple minutes ago I went to the opal admin panel, went to Lan and copied the IP there, logged out and login to the Arris admin panel went to add virtual servers, filled the boxes with that IP and when I typed apply?, the Arris router accepted it!, the port 51820 is open with the IP 192.168.1.2 , I'm amazed because now i'm guessing if I did something wrong! or I did it well? what do you think?

Now, I'm for the procedure to find the public IP so prepare all for the wireguard configuration in the opal admin panel.
recommendations about that next procedure? will be gladly accepted

You did the right thing. Port-forwarding is always to the IP of the router as seen from the direction of ISP router. So 192.168.1.x is correct.

Enable DDNS on the GL device, it should help you find the public IP and set up WireGuard.

Admon, I feel very appreciated for your kind advise, thank you so much for the DDNS counsel , I'll do it right away, and again , my best regards! ( I have been watching youtube videos on how to set up everything on the primary router before the wireguard set up on the Opal, but advises coming from you, the expert are highly valuable, and appreciated)
kind Regards

Hi Admon, happened that I activated DDNS on the opal, and made a test and showed up that result , what does that mean? do wireguard will work when I activate it? or should I got to do something else previously?
kind regards https://n9.cl/ddnstestpic-opalkennedy52
