Connect IP KVM to KVM Switch

Hi everyone,

I'm using a GL.iNet RM1 together with an EZCOO KVM switch and I'm running into the following issue:

The KVM switch has two USB inputs – one labeled "Mouse" and another HID input.

  • When I connect the RM1 via USB-C to the "Mouse" input, both mouse and keyboard work, but the keyboard shortcuts for switching inputs on the KVM do not.
  • If I instead connect the RM1 to the HID input, the keyboard shortcuts work, but I only get relative mouse mode, not absolute, which I need for proper mouse control.

Is there any way to connect both USB inputs of the KVM to the RM1 simultaneously, so that I can have both absolute mouse mode and working keyboard shortcuts?

We haven't done much compatibility work on KVM SWITCH, and the behavior of KVM switch is always difficult to control. Maybe we will provide multi-port KVM products in the near future.
