Connecting 2 Routers Between 2 Houses

Hello, all! I am wanting to have a flint 3 router as my main at house #1 and have a second flint router as a child router at the second house.

Both houses are currently connected by one ethernet cable. Currently I have Linksys mesh setup between both houses. House 1 has main router, then switch then to other house, switch, and then child router.

I would like to replace that whole setup with the 2 flint 3 routers I’ve bought. Just one gets better signal than the setup at the second house.

I was thinking of trying one as a router and one as an access point. But I wasn’t sure if it’ll be the same network or two different networks.

If at all possible I would love to have everything on the same network to keep everything sync for what I already have setup for file sharing.

I would really appreciated it for some guidance please

Hi!

Yes, when the second router is set to AP mode, it extends the same network as your main router.
