Connecting two Beryl routers for travel

I have Xfinity as my ISP and want to connect one Beryl to it at home as a server, and use another Beryl as the client while I travel. I am trying to use Wireguard to connect the two Beryls. The Beryl travel router doesn't connect to the Beryl at home. I have a few problems.

  1. I tried port forwarding through the Xfinity app. The app says port forwarding worked, but I am unsure. IP add: 10.0.0.135 port 51820
  2. I get a green light on the server Beryl. I have enabled Dynamic DNS. IPv4 10.0.0.1/24 Port 51820 The Client IP is set to 10.0.0.2/24
  3. The Beryl travel router shows yellow and is not connecting.
  4. I have tried just about everything to get them to connect, but I am not networking savvy.

I have read other similar posts but they never end in any resolution.

Hi

  1. check if the Xfinity have public IP?
  2. check what is the LAN IP of the Xfinity? Have to change the IP of the WG if the Xfinity LAN IP is same as the WG Server IP.
