Connection from stage laptop to Audio mixer.

I have a Slate 7 (GL-BE3600) connected to a laptop on stage. If I connect a Shadow (GL-AR300M16-Ext) Mini Smart Router to the audio mixer at the back of the room, can I configure the router to create an Ethernet connection from the laptop to the mixer?

Yes, you can do the following:

  1. Connect the AR300M to the BE3600 via Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
  2. Then configure the AR300M to AP / Extender mode, so that devices connected to the BE3600 and devices connected to the AR300M are on the same subnet.
  3. After that, the laptop and the mixer can communicate with each other via LAN IP.
