I am travelling with a Flint and this night my phones suddenly could not connect to the Flint Wifi5 anymore. I connected via laptop and saw a lot of lines of this:
daemon.err hostapd: 20/40 MHz: center segment 0 (=46) and center freq 1 (=5190) not in sync
The Flint has connection to the hotel Wifi via Wifi5 but I cannot see the private Wifi5 anymore. I changed to the private Wifi2.4 and my phones have connection.
Would this error in hostapd prevent the creation of the private Wifi5?
Which are your settings for the 5 GHz Wi-Fi?
What settings are you asking exactly?
I configured my private Wifi with Wifi Name, Security, Password, Hidden visibility but did not really adjust Mode Bandwidth or Channel. The last two I cannot set because of repeater mode.
As for the Wifi connection to hotel: I did not configure anything except to tell it to connect to the hotel wifi, everything else was done by the router itself.
Could it be possible the hotel changed something in their Wifi and because of this the Flint was able to connect to Hotel WiFi but not create the private Wifi anymore?
Answering will be more difficult now because I am not staying at this hotel for some time anymore so I cannot really test something.
