Cyberghost VPN configuration issues

I bought a GL-A1300 router and I am configuring CyberGhost VPN. I have uploaded the configuration and I see in the VPN dashboard that it seems to be connecting fine, however I cannot connect to internet when the VPN is running.
This router is connected to a Xfinity router. In the Xfinity router I configured two ports to be forwarded, 1194 and 51820.
I have zero experience configuring this, so any help is appreciated.

You want to configure vpn on the router, connect to Cyberghost, right?

First, you shoud not configure vpn server on the router. Pls just disable it.

Second, you should not do port forward on your xfinity. Pls disable it.

So for the VPN client, it seems connect but no data is going through. The xfinity give you 10.0.0.124 IP which may conflict with vpn.
Questions:

  1. Do you have Internet if you don't enable vpn?
  2. Can you export the log and send to me? system->log

Alzhao, thanks for your response.

Yes, I want to configure the router to connect to cyberghost. I disabled the vpn server and the port forwarding as advised. When I have the VPN disabled I have internet but as soon as I enable it i loose internet connectivity.

@alzhao Quick research shows that this issue might be related to TUN / TAP.
Wasn't there some kind of adapter that's not supported?

Is it a router issue or a cyberghost issue? If I use NordVPN do you think it will work?

I tried cyberghost and it is working fine.

Maybe change mtu?

Maybe you can try in another invironment, e.g. repeater to your phone's hotspot.

I changed the MTU a few times and it worked. Thanks for your help
