Disable remote access?

You also need to disable port 83 in firewall. You can find it in /etc/config/firewall

That doesn’t really answer the question.

disabling ddns just means the address is hidden. I don’t want the access available at all (port 83 should be closed). How do I turn that access off?

you can remove port 83 from firewall, either by modifying /etc/config/firewall or set up in Luci.
