Disabling 6 Ghz Band & IPV6 Questions

If I disable the 6 Ghz SSID on the Flint 3 will the MLO SSID still keep 6 Ghz alive? I just don’t want to disable the Main 6 Ghz SSID & MLO SSID lose that band.

Also, With Hardware acceleration & fiber Internet shall NAT6 or Native be used?

Hi,

Disabling the standalone 6 GHz Main Wi-Fi will not disable the 6 GHz band used by MLO. When the MLO remains enabled and 6 GHz is selected in its settings, MLO will continue using this band.

The appropriate IPv6 mode mainly depends on the IPv6 service provided by your ISP. If your ISP provides IPv6 prefix delegation, Native is generally recommended.
If the WAN has usable IPv6 connectivity but does not receive a delegated prefix, NAT6 can be used.

You can check the WAN IPv6 information by running the following command via SSH:

ifstatus wan6 2>/dev/null || ifstatus wan
