DNS-over-QUIC Problem in AdGuardHome

Hello i have an issues with use DNS-over-QUIC in Adguard Home.
I use Adguard Home in my router GliNet ax1800 with AdguardHome v0.107.46
When i try add DNS-over-QUIC like: quic://dns.adguard-dns.com
I have an error: Server "quic://dns.adguard-dns.com:853": could not be used, please check that you've written it correctly
In my windows version of adguard home DNS-over-QUIC work fine with no errors.
So can you help me to try fix this?

I had the same issue...

Try adding a new server one line above and one line below, then save & apply.
I guess it's a problem with the carrieage-return

Do you mean like this? That not help, have same error.
https:\dns.com
quic:\dns
https:\dns2.com

Please try to upgrade AGH first.

how i can do that manually? Opkg upgrade?

That's most probably the problem. Without upgrading I have no issues, if I upgrade to latest version, H3 and QUICK doesn't work for me. I have no time to test more, sadly.

That's weird. On my device, it works without any problem.

Do you have some "special" AGH configuration by chance?

Yes it's definitly weird, however that's the situation on my setup. I have AdGuardHome handle client request enabled because I need my smart Tvs to use a different DNS than my others devices (client setting in Adguard home). That's it, no others custom configurations...

Do you use VPN as well?

Ah Yeah sorry, I use Wireguard (ProtonVPN).

Do you know if they block QUIC maybe? Since QUIC can be used to extract private information, some VPNs block it.

Fails this test https://http3.is/ for you?

Nope. All my devices uses Wireguard except my smart TVs (VPN policies-Mac address). H3 and Quick works flawlessly.

Unfortunately, I can't help at this time because I can't reproduce it on my side :frowning:
What router do you use?

Flint 2,latest Op24 version (4.6.3-op24), but this happened to me also with Slate Ax, same behaviour

Weird. Same like me. This does not make it easier to troubleshoot it.
I am using Mullvad instead, but this should not be the issue, I guess.

I even tried to replicate your VPN Policy and AGH handles clients. All works flawless.

If I have time in the next few days, I'll test again and I'll let you know. If I remember correctly, upgrading AdGuardHome manually (WinSCP) makes everything works perfectly, unlike the script, but I am not completely sure ATM.

Thanks a lot for your script. Its work great
It's little bit tricky with some update option, i don't understand what exactly do all this option:

enable the query log on flash?
you want to make the installation permanent?

So i just say No. Its update successful. Now DNS-over-QUIC work with out any issues. Thanks :+1:

v0.107.51 adguard home is working fine with protocol quic and router is Flint 2 without vpn providers.
