Donating GL-MT6000 for getting DD-WRT

Hello,

DD-WRT could also support this router, is .gl-inet interested in donating an equipment?
More details can be found here DD-WRT :: View topic - GL-MT6000 support

No problem of donating a router.

We did that years ago but seems progress is not promising.

You should contact BrainSlayer, it would be interesting if they also support dd-wrt, especially since they have now taken a big step to move to Kernel 6.1 with DD-WRT, plus the better the router is supported, the more gl-inet has to gain!

I sent an email to them.

It’s worth noting that WiFi 6 support on DD-WRT is basically non existent, so it could take months to get the GL-MT6000 supported.

But if you’re open to donating hardware maybe it would be worth contacting Felix Fietkau, since he’s the guy that maintains the OpenWrt mt76 repository? You’ll find his email address in most of the commits.

DD-WRT support on the new hardware was always a problem. My last memory is our AR150 support on DD-WRT. After that, no device is supported. I also donated other devices but I didn’t follow the progress.

Hello,

Any news, did they reply to your e-mail, will they try to support him?

I wrote to hardwaredonation@dd-wrt.com, no reply yet.

Hi, you have also contacted Gargoyle?

@Lantis The problem with the email has been solved?
@alzhao He says he sent an email, I don’t know what email he wrote on and if anyone received it, I know you had a problem with the email, but it’s better to wait for the reaction from someone from the Glinet staff!

No we are still having an email trouble hence why I have reached out here.
