EasyTether w/ MT-3000 + Android

Hello,

I followed several tutorials and posts regarding getting the driver installed, mainly this one. I'm running firmware 4.7.4.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S25 on T-Mobile.

On first go, only usb0 interface was showing up. I've made some changes and here's where I am.

  • I think it is working, as in LuCI I can see traffic counters and the tap-easytether device seems to be active.
  • When I run easytether-usb I get the following output:
/etc/easytether/adbkey: No such file or directory
interface tap-easytether is used by another process (hotplug?)
  • In the main GUI, the Internet status says "No Tethering device found" and the GUI says there's no Internet, but it seems to be working.

What further steps do I need to make for the GUI to recognize this as proper setup?

After using easytether, it will occupy the USB channel and establish a tethering connection, and the connection information and status will not be displayed on the main GUI.

Sorry, we cannot provide more support for the third-party plug-in easytether.
