I have an Edimax EW-7811Un dongle that won’t connect to my GL-MT300N-V2 (Mango) wifi.
The dongle does connect to other networks. My Android phone does connect to Mango’s wifi.
I tried the dongle with Ubuntu and Raspian machines and neither can connect to Mango’s wifi.
I get no errors from the GUI, it asks for the PSK but it stays unconnected.
Client OSs are updated.
I checked /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf and it looks like I think it is supposed to.
I think it might be a driver issue. I found a post with a similar problem, but it’s 7 years old, and it basically says to update the driver. I don’t know how to check the driver version on my Pi.
I’m just wondering if anyone here has successfully connected these devices.
