ESC key does not pass through from macOS to Windows PC

I am connecting to a Windows laptop from macOS using GLKVM app and ESC keypress does not pass through.

I confirm this by running this keyboard tester in a browser in the remote machine :

What makes it worse is that the Esc key exits full-screen mode. This is very annoying !!!

I do NOT want to have to use a soft-key option like the virtual keyboard.

What i want is the ability to simply pass the Esc key through to the device. I actually think this should be the default behaviour. Please implement this.

By the way, there should be other options to exit full-screen mode. Parallels for example uses long-press of Ctrl and Alt keys. Or on macOS you could use the fn+f combo or similar. Whatever it is please make it configurable.

I just tried connecting directly to the KVM from a browser on my macOS host and the experience is better :

  • ESC key DOES pass through
  • ESC key does NOT exit full screen (unless i hold it down as the browser instructs)

There is still no key mapping though.

This is a workaround that is satisfactory but i would like to see better support for ESC pass-through in the GLNet app

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
We have tested that this bug do exist when a MacOS run GLKVM APP in 1.2 version.
This will be fixed in future version ASAP, you can please use glkvm.com temperarily.
