I'm using an InstyConnect cellular modem/router based on the AX 1800. I'm trying to install Express VPN's manual OpenVPN Client. The InstyConnect installed firmware has a section for Installing open VPN.
It seems Express VPN's website has changed since the GL-net video on adding OPENVPN to their routers. To get to their expressVPN’s OpenVPN Zip files you need to indicate
(Asus (including Merlin), Net duma or Sabai can you confirm what I should choose?
I've contacted Express VPN and I'm told That the AX 1800 is not compatible but I kind of think they're wrong about using Open VPN.
AX1800 shall work fine with Express VPN, you can just choose Asus and export the config file. They shall be the same to work on all router based on open vpn client.
Click the country or region to download the Profile, and then import the Profile which just downloaded to the GL GUI-> VPN-> OpenVPN Client, and it will be ready to use it.
It does not need to choose any Router in the ExpressVPN webpage, that is just introduce guidance how to import the profile to router.
