External antenna cable ordering for GL-XE3000 / GL-X3000

I’m trying to use a Peplink Mobility 42 external 5G/Wifi antenna with my GL-XE3000.

It has 4 cellular wires labeled 1 through 4 and 2 WiFi wires labeled 1 and 2. Does it make a difference what order I connect these to the 4 cellular (Main/Div/MIMO1/MIMO2) and 2 Wifi connectors on the router?

Hi,

We noticed that the specifications for the Peplink Mobility 42 external 5G/WiFi antenna state that all cellular antenna ports have the same frequency gain characteristics, and that the Wi-Fi antennas support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz operation as well.

Therefore, you can connect any of the antenna’s cellular cables to the cellular ports on the XE3000 / X3000, and connect the Wi-Fi cables to the Wi-Fi ports.

There is no need to worry about the order — it will not make any difference.
