How long have you been using your comet? Could you describe the information before and after the failure? Did this error occur only after modifying the EDID? Was the video working properly before that?
.It is being used for a week on a MacMini 6.1 using Open Core Legacy Patcher. The device was working for several days before it starting not working. Now it gets no HDMI signal at all.
In my case: Baseus 2-3 port PD power supply on USB C to C cable. No any other devices plugged in all time of usage. A few hours powered on PD power-bank - only first day of usage. Broken after about month of usage.
