Failover between Starlink Mini and Home Network

I have a Beryl + Starlink in my RV. The Starlink router is in bridge mode with the Beryl handling everything. I have failover setup so that when I come home, the Beryl automatically tethers to my home network (to save data on the Starlink). This works fine. I am missing some features on the starlink when it is in bridge mode and would like to turn it back into a regular (albeit featureless) router. The beryl is connected to the Starlink via ethernet cable.

Can I set this up with failover so that when I come home I automatically tether to my home network and when away, tether to the Starlink and if so what's the best way to set this up?

If now connection is working fine, there is no need to change anymore.

If you return home and Beryl automatically connects to the home network via repeater. In this case, Beryl needs to enable repeater all the time since it needs to automatically connect the home WiFi when you return home.

But it will affect the WiFi client connection during the journey.

The repeater will scan the surrounding WiFi signals at regular intervals, to confirm if there are any saved/remembered WiFi to automatically connect to.

During the scanning process, GL router needs to disable the AP (also said the WiFi signal) broadcast first, and then scan. All brand routers will do this, making the scanning signal list complete, accurate and fast.
That's reason why your Wi-Fi clients will be affected, which the WiFi connection sometimes drops and reconnect.

So if I have 2 tethered wifi signals, is there anyway to give a priority to one of them? In my case, I need to have my home wifi have higher priority over starlink wifi or the connection won't change over from starlink to home network.

What if about this, the GL router repeater list saved 2 wifi, one is home, other one is the starlink.

If you backed home, power off or restart the starlink, so your GL router will connect to the home wifi.
