Hey there, I have failover setup and it appears to be working great.
One issue I have is that if the second / failover connection goes down, it brings the internet offline for some reason even if the primary is up. Does anyone know how I can ensure the internet stays online if the secondary device is down?
I feel like I have seen this as well where my device failed over to tethering, which then failed, leaving me with no internet connection even though the interface was showing my primary device had come back online. I may have had the internet status monitoring turned off at the time for the tethered connection, I cannot remember. But at that time, that is what I assumed must have happened. The device didn’t have a way to know the tether failed. When you disable the monitoring, it assumes it is up if it is connected.
