I have just purchased a GL A1300 travel router. To log into the Captive Portal of various public WIFI places, I usually log on to the public wiifi through my phone and authenticate through my phone first, and then clone the MAC address to the router.
The problem is that iPhone’s MAC randomization assigns a MAC address to each SSID. This means when I go to a different coffee shop, I will have to repeat the cloning process. It will be really convenient if the router can save the MAC address along with the repeater SSID. This way, once I log on to the public wifi through my phone, I only need to disconnect from the phone and power on the router without setting up anything else.
