[Feature request] Replace Wireguard with AmneziaWG

Does it work for Mudi E750V2?

I switched back to vanilla OpenWrt because amneziawg 1 and 1.5 are no longer relevant. And the 2.0 configuration file isn't included (like the second version). Are there any plans to add awg 2.0?

I just learned about 1.5/2.0 and came to ask this exact question. Does the current beta support 1.5? And as @room2009 said are there plans to add awg 2.0?

To be honest, I can't be certain, the Mudi v2 hardware is relatively old, and if the firmware is too large, that may be unable to install the firmware.

Hello,

The PM team is evaluating AWG 2.0. The 2.0 server is also backward compatible with 1.5/1.0 clients.

May I know if your region already been blocked the AWG 1.0?

I am not using a restricted region at the moment.

Hi! Client version 1.0 hasn't been working since early February. I had to switch to 2.0 and vanilla OpenWrt.

May I know what region you are using? does the AWG 2.0 work properly?

My region is Russia. My router is Flint2.
2.0 works, I don't see any errors. But again, this is on vanilla OpenWR.

We will proceed with the pre-research for AWG 2.0.

Hello, everyone. A colleague of mine recently visited Iran. He had internet connection practically all day long. We tested AmeziaWG on a Gl-iNet Beryl AX (MT3000) server in the EU and the official Windows and Android client.

The results were not good. Poor stability and disconnections. This person also travelled with two commercial VPNs, with different results: one was very poor and the other very good.

I believe that version 2.0 of AmneziaWG could solve all these problems.

Best regards and many thanks.

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback!

May I know which commercial VPN good one is?

Hello Bruce. The commercial VPN that worked very well is Surfshark.
Best regards.
