Currently Marble B3000 its under 4.5.19 with no beta updates… when it is expected to have new firmware?

The v4.6 firmware beta is in the develop plan, let us wait a while. Kernel has not any update.

Will Marble will also get 4.7 updates in the future? Thanks!

Yes. Probably v4.6.x beta firmware first, but 4.7.x also in the develop plan to realize in the future.

Don't all routers have the same development plans? Will 4.7 be for all routers? I have the BerylAX which already has the 4.7 Beta, the SlateAX doesn't have it yet and is on 4.6.8 and the Marble hasn't even moved to 4.6 yet.

Indeed.

I am a new GL-Inet client and have recently bought the Marble. It works pretty well and I like the idea, the aesthetics and the performance. By the way, I do not understand why its firmware has not been update in almost three months now, while all the new other products have received monthly updates. Also, I find weird that the firmware of a recently released device is still running on a such an ancient OpenWrt build.

A part that, another big issue is the fact that GL-Inet repositories do not provide the required packages for SQM. Hopefully, this will change soon with the release of an updated firmware version.

Kind regards

Qualcomm is the main reason why.

Qualcomm's opensource blobs for developers just barely work and as ancient as it is. Im not sure if GL inet have access to advance SDK provided by Qualcomm themselves to at least have a better development experience on their end.

Why do you need a new firmware?
