Hello
The firmware download link is a bit confusing, and frankly speaking with the changelog not referring to which version of OpenWRT is even more confusing
According to the above image, the OPENWRT 24 is the only OpenWRT 24 avaiable to download and test for Flint 2, and the latest seems 4.7.5 BETA after jumping from the previous one 4.7.0.
- What does the word BETA refer to between the STABLE and OPENWRT 24?
- What is STABLE referring to? OpenWRT version 22? Why is it not mentioned like a billboard in bold?
- If an OpenWRT 24 Beta firmware is buggy or if I need to downgrade it, why is the previous version gone from the list?
- Can the Change Log /Release note of each firmware to download contain an explicit statement to which version of OpenWRT it refers to? Sometimes it is easy to make mistakes even for experts and you end up downloading the wrong firmware if you are not paying attention.
I had OpenWRT 24 4.7.0 installed and it was solid. I upgraded to 4.7.5 and I discovered that all my IoT devices cannot reconnect to my Wireless network. I have a Vacuum Cleaner (Roborock S8) that used to connect to my 5 GHz network, After the upgrade, even after resetting the Vacuum Cleaner to default settings, I could not connect it to my existing WiFi network (WPA3), and I had to connect it to my Guest network (WPA2 less security) for it to work. I also have an old FritzBox router that I use as a repeater and that too got disconnected and I had to physically connect to it to reconfigure the repeater mode to the same Wifi it repeated from!
All my other devices are OK, phones are OK, computers are OK, only some home devices are disconnected.
